My knife which had defective locking was replaced in better knife free of charge.
Knife sent to Kershaw was discontinued model and they proposed to me trade the knife in for another model in same price range. I was interested in more expensive model and agree to pay difference in the price, but get it free of charge. Now I know - Kershaw is company which stands behind quality of its products.

I had great dealings with Kershaw.

They sent me a 2 new springs for my Chive hassle free, after I emailed them stating my previous one had broken.

Not all companies would do something like that, the majority would need you to send the knife in.
