I've been scouring the forums for months now trying to find information related to when the Kershaw Knockout will make a reappearance. I know it had a small sale a few months ago, but has now all but disappeared. Does anybody know when we might expect this knife to go back on sale?

I've recently bought a RAM to feed the addiction but I don't know how long that's going to hold me over... Which BTW, kicked a BUNCH of knives out of my pocket. WOW!

I know the ram is a real gem, I just got a black blade ram to go with my satin blade so I have 2 now. For what you get, the quality, materials and USA made its an incredible bargain IMO.

Yea, the delay was based on a few production changes. Went back the original aluminum handle, and a few sub-frame lock changes. Next generation Knockout should be out soon.

Thomas, any change in price on the new version? I don't know if aluminum costs more/less than G10.

No price change, and it should be noted that the lock in the pic is unfinished. It will have a black finish.

Thomas,

Thank you for the updates and pictures. Excuse me while I wipe away the drool. I love how the Sub-frame lock is milled out!

Do you know how huch the weight will be affected by the updated (technically original) handle material?

Thanks for the updaters and pics. I like that its going back to an aluminum frame. It looks like the cut out in the sub frame is new, thats cool.

So does the aluminum version weight more than the G-10 version? Or do they weight the same?

The brushing on the blade looks nice also, like the Echelon?

The aluminum weighs a little more, but it's not a huge difference - if anything, I like the balance better with the new aluminum handles.

We've been working on a run of these in the factory recently, so there should be a few headed out soon.

Thanks Jimmer.

I figured the weight had to increase some. However, the increased rigidity should be more than worth the slightly added heft IMO.

Now back to the waiting game. Thanks Kershaw! It's a good problem to have folks excited about upcoming products.

I like this much more with the new look/materials. Not sure why, just hated that pattern on G10

WOW i think i'll have to put off getting a ZT0350 for this. it looks damn sexy. especially that blade.
