Kershaw Lee Williams OD1 Proto

Dunno about the lock stop on this one, but I'd like to see em on all Kershaw's frame locks.

This is at the top of my list as far as the new non-auto designs are concerned. Really liking the lines of this one and it's a frame lock!

That is exactly what I want in a carry knife. Perfect blade shape, G-10 one side, frame-lock on the other, interesting flipper. I'll definitely be picking one of those up.

I came up with the slogan in my sig because it's how I really feel about Kershaw, and they just keep proving me right!

Another one to add to the list...:D

Ray :)

Edit: The slogan is temporarily on vacation due to pressing needs and no room for it...

It said: Kershaw...from design innovation, to execution excellence, to function defining Art...

Okay, this is getting out of hand! Kerswhaw is just going to have to set up some sort of finance program; call it I.K.A.P; Individual Kershaw Acquisition Program.

Man, it's been a long day. I must be tired to think of that.
Maybe I'll just become a full-time knife dealer to support my Kershaw habit.:D

To answer a couple of the questions, yes the OD1 will have the lock stabilizer, and I'm saying that it will incorporate 14C28N as the blade steel (no matter what date it's released.)

Cool. Thanks Thomas. I'm really excited about this one.

I think I am in love......So, my morning is like this... I was reading forums , like i always do, and contemplate to myself how i want "this" or "that" in a knife design.. then I will visit the online knife sites and look at all the knifes available.

Then I see this little knife, with a Flipper, Framelock, 3-pos clip. Wow. nice utility blade shape, G10 .. oh my. I am in love.

Kershaw and Lee Williams do it right. Thank you.

I looked at this one a little more. It has made quite an impression on me. I'd like to suggest a fold over clip on this one. With that framelock and size it would be nice to carry that one deep in the pocket tip up. That would get the flipper out of the way and appease all the tip up guys all at once.

It has "sprint run" all over it.

Agreed with the above. I've really taken to tip-down recent, and something low-profile to carry wedged against the inner edge of the pocket, especially for a knife that slim (:D - so much slimmer than my Spydies) sounds like a real winner for EDC.

The more I see and handle of Kershaw, the more I realize what I've been missing :D (money? what money?).

This one looks great. The last few yrs. Kershaw is really comming up with some of the best designs.

Thomas, thanks for the pics! I really like this one, I'll be buying an OD-1 for sure!

Any chance of a higher-end sprint run on this one?

Hey there cw! I couldn't image there wouldn't be one...or two boutique runs.

wait what? alton brown DVDs? i wanna see!

They were short promotional DVDs that had Alton Brown explaining the virtues of the Kershaw Shun kitchen knives in his "Good Eats" style of production. Really a brilliant marketing idea by the guys at Kershaw. Everybody loves Alton, and the way he explains things makes everything that much more interesting.
