Kershaw MiniCyclone ZDP-189 (pics)

Well, what do you know. The shiny silver marks from pushing it through the can did come off with some scrubbing and polish. Just aluminum on the black blade.

Could have fooled me. I saw shiny, I assumed it was the coating scrapping off.

I was completely wrong. Sorry for the false info.

Eric.

Not to insult sebbie diehards, but I feel this comes really close to sebbie. I own a sebbie myself( BG42) but I feel CRK should make some items standard on the sebbie, like double thumb lugs, and a swedge for starters. I don't think this would be too much to ask for for the price. The zdp steel on the cyclone already makes it ahead of the sebenza bladewise.

Yeah, I'm a Sebenza diehard; but that's from over 10 years of using them. CRK Sebenza's are actually part production part custom. With custom knives you get options such as duel studs or not, swedge or not, Damascus blades or not, unique graphic's. Try asking Kershaw for one or none of those and see what you get. You won't! Check out the CRK DVD and see all the handwork involved in making a Sebenza. I bet your opinion changes.

Again, I'm not knocking Kershaws Cyclone here. In fact, I'm ordering another for safe keeping. I like the knife that much. I just think these two knives are far apart from one another in workmanship and attention to detail.
