I recently Purchased a piston in the Knife Exchange and this knife is Simply Amazing. For the Size of this Knife it is very light and user friendly. I thought I liked the Knockout but this is just amazing. Fit and Finish is perfect! It opens great with the Flipper and Thumbstuds...And Did I mention this is a Big Knife.. The Blade is The Same length as the Tilt and is about even with the ZT0200... Both of which are Huge Knives! Great Job Kershaw! Well Done

Can you show some comparison pics with the Knockout, especially the handle thickness?

You make me feel weird....I have carried/carry both of those models and they're a medium size EDC for me :o

I got a chance to handle a knockout today, way smaller than I thought it would be. My hand was pretty cramped on there. I really do wanna try out the piston, but for some reason I never get one.

exactly what he said

The pistons handle is a nice size..Just wish it had Jimping on it for where you place your thumb

Not Very aggressive at all.. Very Pocket Friendly. The G10 has a great texture..grippy in hand, but doesn't kill your pocket. Probably one of the most pocket friendly knives.

Now I am having second thoughts about selling it to you. Can I have it back? ;) Glad you like it! For me I liked the Knockout just a little better.

Haha...I liked to so much, that the 300SN wasn't doing it for me and already sold it.

No problem Jay! I think you would love it. Its a knife I think every Kershaw fan needs!

I have had my Piston for two or three months. Been meaning to do an in depth review. But no time/laziness when I am home. Actually, I will put up some pics with the Knockout hold on.

Edit: Pics!

Chester, you beat me to the punch for that Piston! It is nex on my list. Theres a good deal on it that expires tonight, think it might be time.

I am wondering why there hasnt been much feedback on the Piston. Looks to be a keeper along with my knockout.

If they do an aluminum Piston, I'm all over it.

I sold my Piston to get the Knockout, and my pockets are much happier. The G-10 didn't work so well with my work slacks.

I know it hasn't has much fan fare. Its an amazing knife. One of my favs to carry.. Sits nice and is easy to grab from your pocket. I'm not even mad there's no lanyard hole.. I'm gonna carry it till Xmas and see if I I find any dislikes.

Imho the Piston is one of the best folders Kershaw has made. I do prefer large folders so this one caught my attention. Its light for its size. Perfect clip and perfect placement. Stonewashed blade is always a plus. Deployments via thumb stud or flipper is smooth. I actually might remove the flipper on mine for a more streamline look. The speedsafe functions very similar to the shallot in that it takes a good amount of pressure to engage the spring...and i like that. Using the thumbstuds it acts like a blur to open....just nudge the tapered stud and out the blade comes.

The g10 is spot on. Grippy yet easy on the pockets.

All in all a homerun in my opinion....thank you Kershaw!
