Kershaw RAM thoughts?

Looking to possibly pick up a Kershaw for ~$70. I'm looking for a flipper, so that rules the Blur, the Knockout would be perfect but I dislike plain aluminium handle scales. So anyway I've kind of wound up with the RAM and was wondering what y'all think of it, since IIRC it has been discontinued and it doesn't seem like it's talked about that much. Thanks!

Kershaw Piston!

The ram is ridiculous! I love them, very underrated knife in my opinion. Good pick up

That's a little big for my EDC purposes. Trying to keep it around the size of my 0350 or smaller.
In the pocket it disappears... Its nice and light.. I know you'd love it.. and the blade is only 1/4 inch bigger.

You could Also get the Tanto Zing for $35 from Kershaw Guy..Same Size as a Ram..also discountinued

That's actually really tempting, I didn't realize they made the Zing without the funky blade.

I wish they would do more sprint runs. I've love to see the piston, or ram, and others, available in a different steel. 14c28n steel gets pretty boring.

I say get a Ram but I think you can find one for way less than $70, be patient. They are really cool knives and feel much better in the hand than the Zing which I also like a lot.

Yeah, it'd be cool if they did an S30V version like with the Blur. Of course Elmax or S35VN would be even cooler.

no offense chester, but IMO the R.A.M. is vastly superior to the zing. In terms of deployment, fun factor, and blade shape. Get the R.A.M. One of my favorites. It's one of those knives that you don't quite "get" until you hold one.
