Suspicious? I don't even know what that means?Regardless of why it happened it makes the company look suspicious. I mean they could at least say "we are going to open our own Kershaw forum" or something.
It seemed at times that things got somewhat heated on that subforum quite easily.
Suspicious? I don't even know what that means?
I already said David that we had an issue we couldn't get over with BF's. Kevin and I discussed it at length. I felt it was in our best interest to move on. The details of the issue are between Kevin and I.
We don't have immediate plans to open another forum.
Is that good enough for you or did you need something more to keep us from looking suspicious?
I'm also not sure what your talking about with the heat in the sub-forum, but I guess you felt there was. Sorry we were too passionate for you.
That response is exactly what I mean. I just stated my opinion and you get all sarcastic with the "too passionate for you" statement. Along with the "is that good enough for you".
I think you tend to take everything to heart and/or take it personally when it is is not. I would say that if you didn't take things so personally and were more relaxed like Sal, you would be better off. Again, no offense meant to you.....you just seem to take things very personally.
As far as suspicious. It's just weird that all the sudden "it's gone". It may or may not have an impact on sales but I can assure you that I purchased more Kershaw knives just from the pictures and reviews on that subforum which is now gone.
Best of luck to you.
The only FACT you have stated is the loss for you and all of Blade Forums. It's a financial isssue between BF & Kershaw. IMO. or
Kershaw did not want a forum that would trash their upcomming line up for 2009. IMO
But that's a long shot. They probably have a killer product line for 09. Just a thought.
or
After Kershaw did not renew Ken Onion's contract. (Ken's words not mine) he (KO) put the Kibash on Kershaw. I think we all know what the Kibash from a power broker like KO can do. But that's just my opinion, spectulation and a some rumors that may or may not be true. I'm mean, I just saying, Ya know?
It is a huge loss for me personally and for all of Blade Forums.
That's a fact.![]()

The forums are cheaper than ever now as far as the cost. Just look at how many knife makers, material dealers or service guys have opened up one since Spark lowered the price. As for the new line up, speculation is just that.
Now that is MHO.
Jim
David, thanks for the advice, but when you come knocking with "suspicious" type commentary, I'll respond every time. The word makes it sound like there was something not on the up and up with us, and that's not the case. I've alluded to the hurdle in my recent posts on this subject , so I'm unsure why it can't be left at that? That response is exactly what I mean. I just stated my opinion and you get all sarcastic with the "too passionate for you" statement. Along with the "is that good enough for you".

This situation came up suddenly, and the result finished up quickly. Things happen that way. We weren't expecting or planning for an exit, wished it didn't have to be this way, but that is just the way it worked out.As far as suspicious. It's just weird that all the sudden "it's gone". It may or may not have an impact on sales but I can assure you that I purchased more Kershaw knives just from the pictures and reviews on that subforum which is now gone.
Still have your addy gman...come to think of it, I think everyone does.BTW...I'm going to miss all the free Kershaw knives, and the excellent "give-aways" that I received from the Kershaw Forum, and from Thomas W..
