Kershaw Titanium SG2 Junk Yard Dog II Blems

I just received my SG2 TI JYD2 Blem today and couldn't be more pleased with the knife. I can't even tell where the blem is. Great price and fast shipping. Thanks :thumbup:
 
Got the knife-What a great blade. I can not find the flaw. Perfect grind, centered blade. Why are the Sebenzas and Striders going for 3-5 times the price.

I don't know what a "D2" is that you keep referring to, but the SG2 like mine shown above (and is the topic of this thread) is a frame lock, not a liner lock.
 
D2 is the blade steel used for the cutting edge of the composite blade for other model being sold.

It's a tool steel.
 
I paid (P-P) Friday - it was shipped Friday evening - in my mailbox in C.A. (Central Alabama) this AM. Fast!

Sadness upon opening my envelope - the laminate was ground off-center, I suppose. Distance from start of lamination to edge is 7/16" on the 'XXXX' side; 3/16" on the other side. Bevel is fine - edge raises armhairs along it's entire length. Easy to open & close - and well centered close. Other than the unmatched lamination edge, it's perfect - even the clip screws came out easily. For comparison, my 'real' 1725SG2, the one I paid a lot more for, has maybe 1/16" difference in lamination widths. It'll stay in the display case - this guy goes in my pocket!! I guess it's called a 'Blem' for a reason after all... my other 'Blems' were fine - had to get one that wasn't 'perfect' some time. Still a perfect knife, of course.

PS About the 1725CB - I bought a neat grey G10 'Blem' with the fuselage pattern on it - from an evil-bayer. I wonder, Kershawguy, if you can get them, too?? That CPMD2 is nice, too - and they look better than the featureless black G10 on the standard 1725CBs, too.
