Sounds like "when stuff happens" will be happening to you quite a bit based off the things you do to your blades.
Haha exactly. That's why I appreciate blade replacements for a fee. I like tinkering and testing, sometimes that ends up with damage.

This is great news! The best in the business, now even better!
Is it possible to just order/buy blades from Kershaw and fix them myself? I have a couple of Leeks that need new blades (broken tip, mangled serrations). They're both serrated blades, and I'd like to replace them with plain edge blades.
Here's the deal: If you accidentally break your Kershaw folding knife's blade—or commit some other heinous, yet accidental, act on it—we can replace your knife's blade for you and return it in good working order for just $10.
Yep, just $10 for any Kershaw folding knife. That includes Blade Traders.
Simply send your knife in to us according to warranty instructions. We'll replace the blade for you, spruce up your knife, and return it to you. Please note that we cannot replace fixed blade knives under this program.
Question: Will the re-blade a knife sent in with the same blade/steel that the knife originally came with? I have a pretty well used S30v leek that I sent to them a while back after the torsion bar failed. I'd broken the tip off the blade, and explained that I just wanted the torsion bar replaced, as the broken tip was due to my negligence. When the knife came back, I'm sure about the only original parts left were the clip and the scales!I was most impressed.
I am not complaining in any way, but the blade they replaced the original with was unmarked, and I am pretty sure it is not S30v. Relatively soft steel in comparison. Just curious.
It's pretty much accepted that LEs won't have spare parts available.

Well I'd assume so for those exotic le's. But what about for a cyclone, or something like that? I'd assume not, for that too.
i apologize if i overlooked a post and this has already been answered, but does anyone know if they'll replace the blades on the 'made in china' folders (clash, cryo, etc.)
