Kershaw Trivia , Knife Giveaway

I have over 1,000 myself ( not all kershaw) so I will say for his Kershaw collection......445 knives

This weeks winner will be announced very shortly by my friend John in Texas, because it is his collection you were guessing and it will be his first post. I got to know John through ebay and we have spoken many times on the phone about our favorite subject , none other than Vintage Kershaw knives. He never knew what my user name was on Bf's when he signed up several months ago , I'm not sure you guys are ready for it ! At any rate and with out further talk from me , here is John from Texas with this weeks winner, please give him a big welcome.

Dave

A.P.F. with 275 came closest. The actual number is 285. I'm sure there are larger collections out there, so lets hear from you guys! I have collected Kershaw knives since around the late 70's, as well as catalogs, and literature.

Later knife nuts, KERSHAWKNIFEGUY

Dave, are you saying you have LESS than 285 kershaws? I thought you had many times that...

way to go A.P.F.! yeah, i agree with Jeremy, thought you had way more than 285, Dave. welcome to the group John!

I have a few hundred knives that go to knife sales and Ebay that I don't consider part of my collection , they are the knives that enable me to afford my collection. My collection is probably around 200 vintage Kershaws that won't be leaving anytime soon. If I had the money you guys have , I would have a much larger collection, I am just a sheetrocker after all. :D :D

Wow! Thanks for the great prize John and Dave! This is the first time I have ever won anything! :) And, thanks to all you guys who make this such a great forum.

Kindest regards,

Al

P.S. - E-mail sent to your private addy, Dave.
P.P.S. - As the knife will have to go through the dreaded Canada Customs, if there is a pivot pin that can be tightened so the blade won't flick open, I would sure appreciate it being nice and snug. Thanks again!

Al

Anybody want to win a Minted Honker knife ? Read on, In 1996-1997 several models were added to the 1400 series lineup. They were high tech and innovative, using high grade materials such as ATS34 steel, G10 and Titanium handles, by 1997 there were 8 models ( a few more were added the following year) out of those eight models all were made in the USA except one that was made in Japan. Tell me the name and model # of the one not made in USA, and I will send you a Minted Honker Knife circa. 1992. Ready , set , gooooo !
