Interesting thing about the Thermite is that I really like it and bought it as a beater and knife I wouldn't cry over if I lost it. I was kinda surprised about how the lock bar bent in the first place to be honest but, have to say, the edge didn't chip, roll or distort in the least.
Funny how personal knives can be to us - I get more aggravated and spent more time dealing with a knife that cost less than a burger and a couple beers at my favorite watering hole than I do with real problems.
