Happy Halloween BF!

My most recent. ZT0055, Kershaw Natrix, Kershaw Cinder, Kershaw Tx Tool. And a few weeks earlier, the ZT0850. All pretty sweet knives.

And a few lookalikes. Forgot to throw in a Link. And I added some Thumb Studs to the Natrix. Now multi options. Also Wave opens from pocket pretty well.

I highly recommend the 0562CF. I think it's the best thing ZT makes, esp price considered. Carrying mine all week.

We generally dig the same type knives so I'd probably like it.

Both are great. If you like full ti handle, go with 0801ti. Otherwise, 0562cf.

Full Ti isn't a must. I'm curious as to how CF will wear though.

Completely agree. 0562CF can't be beat at that price point. Been my EDC for well over 2 years. Really close to selling a bunch of stuff that never sees any use.

Do you have any current pics of that knife? Would love to see how it has aged!

I've never seen any of the CF models "wear" significantly. CF is tough stuff.
Me neither. I've had my 0562cf 3 years no I think. No where near carried every day as I have too many knives to rotate but It has been carried a bunch. No wear that I can tell.

This was taken 3 months ago when I added Ti hardware and blue ano backspacers. The Ti scale is at least a year and a half old too. Looks the same today. The blade has scratches on it, but only show up at the right angle.

Midnight Sun Industries TI scale AND the full MXG TI hardware! That's dedication right there.

Ok, you guys pushed me over the top. I haven't owned a flipper or KAI product in years. I carried and happily used a Chive for around 10 years though so I'm confident that this will be an upgraded continuation. I strongly considered the full Ti 0452 but I like the wider blade shape of the 0562. The cf version comes with CTS204P which I've never owned but I've ready is similar to M390 (personal favorite)?

The 0562CF was originally run in M390; when it got harder for ZT to source M390 they switched to CTS 204P, which is chemically identical to M390. Currently they have switched over to CPM 20CV which is also chemically identical.

As far as performance you won't notice any difference between the three. They are chemically the same, just made by different manufacturers. The M390 ones are hard to find these days. There are lots of 204P ones that tend to get listed on the exchange pretty regularly. If you buy one new from a dealer it will most likely be 20CV.

I bought it new. The site said 204P so, I'm assuming that's what I'm getting (old stock maybe?). I'll ask.

What he said. You won't notice a difference as they are the same. A plus is the 204P and 20cv are USA made.

It's possible they haven't updated the description in the site, or that they still have some 204P in stock. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

Indeed. I almost went with the 0452 man. I just liked the wider blade shape a bit more on this one.
