Late last year there was an international 0452CFBLUBLK model with M390 black DLC blade, CF on the presentation side and blue anodized titanium on the lock side.

Nice! Really hoping for all all black version. Guess I'd take the CF or Ti, but full Ti Blackwash would be awesome IMO (like the 0456BW), and would still buy one that was just all black DLC (like the 0392BLK).

I got the 0562CF in and I'm torn about it. On one hand this knife is pretty amazing in terms of fit/finish and materials used. On the other hand the flipper is so odd to me. I carried a flipper for around 10 years (Kershaw Chive) but haven't carried one in 5 or so.

I'm glad to hear this from others! I was holding out for what felt like years for a all dlc zt0452cf (preferably in m390 also). Or at least a state side 0452cfblublk. For some reason i thought it would happen soon after the international one.

Give it a week or two. If you find you're not into flippers anymore, then it shouldn't be too hard to unload on the exchange.

Like riding a bike. Soon to be second nature. But if you want a super smooth non-bearing non-flipper, you may want to look into the ZT 0850.

Anyway, enjoy the 0562CF. One of the all time stars in the lineup.

When I switch up and put a non flipper in my pocket I have the same problem. Been carrying my Chris Reeve Inkosi and Southern Grind Spider Monkey a lot more lately. I can not even begin to tell you how many times I have tried to flip them both
