Kershaw's customer service just made my day!

i just bought a ZT0551 from another forum member, and he brushed the screws. not sure that i want that for this knife, so i rang Kershaw and received amazing customer service.

"thanks for your help and understanding Brittany, and what? did you say FREE? are you SURE???"

nothing's free anymore! i even had my credit card out all ready to pay for them and everything - and no need. what a cool experience that was, especially after BofA's absolute HORROR of a human being on the phone this AM...but that's a story for another day.

this made my day. they'll be here inside the week.

TL;DR: Kershaw's kick-ass customer service and free replacement parts just earned a them a life-long devotee.

I agree. KAI sent me some extra torsion springs for my ZT300, ZT350 and Leek models for no charge. That is excellent customer service.
 
Three times,Cheryl Kalleck has bailed me out.
Once: a clip (she sent a 'plain' & a 'black'!)
Once: two black Torx screws (she sent four in black & 4 in plain finish.)
Once:rapid turnaround on a minor repair.

All free,and all daymfast!

Got a spring for free for my Leek - less then a week including shipping (also free!) to Sweden. I just emailed to say that is was broken and what I needed to do and they replied "Just send us your address"
 
I got on their website and filled out a thing in the "contact us" and got an email a bit later saying "the clip and screws are on their way, add some blue loktite." About a month ago i sent in a blur, storm II, 2 leeks and a black out. They took care of them for me, even though I was the one that messed them up. Great customer service... thats why i buy kershaws
