Kershaw's Tyrade in orange G-10 are here...

I got mine today!!

Then I tried to switch it to tip up and promptly wrecked both screws. I dont think the holes are tapped properly...
I had the same issue with my orange Tyrade, but realized it in time to not wreck the screws. Instead I bought the proper size tap and fixed the holes. Metric size 2.2 x .45 mm, IIRC. Worked like a charm. Seems they forgot to tap those holes.

i have Ti version that i use as a utility knife...it is in fact the best utility knife i have ever used to date...

i am thinking about getting a g10 version for the same purpose, for even more rugged use/light abuse...that's what they're for gentlemen...

I have one and love it. Its advertised as stonewashed but looks bead blasted. I am trying to find an orange stonewash now.

There were supposed to be some Orange done up with a stonewash blade but a communication error from the carpet to the concrete had them all done up with a bead blast.
Some retail sites with early product information still have them listed as stonewash when they actually are not.

Part# for the Orange model should read 1850ORBB.
The ones supposed to be stonewash were numbered (I believe) just 1850OR

Hope that helps.

I also have Tan and it is bead blasted. I was unhappy at first when it came in the mail. ;)But it has grown on me now. I think the only ones that were actually made stone washed are black.

Now I would be mad if got one of the made in China knives, that are listed as made in the good old USA. There are at least 5 on their web site that say made in the USA but have Chinese steel. :barf: Nothing against them having some lower end knives made there, but don't them listed like that. It was talked about 3 or 4 months ago that were listed wrong. Still no change......

Select Fire
Blitz
Chill
1/2 ton
Scamp

I like the looks of some of them. But fix how they listed.......Please.
