keyring carry ...

I carry a PrincetonTec Pulsar II LED flashlight and a Swiss-Tech Utili-Key on my keychain.

I would like to obtain a couple , but their web site says they won't ship to the States or Canada.? Is their an alternative method of obtaining them.?

Thanks in advance.

I used to carry lots on my keyring, but found that practice to be really hard on my coat pockets. Plus, everything jangled when I pulled my keyring out.

Now, I still get keyring tool and such, but I carry them separately in my pockets, not on my keyring. Items that used to be on my keyring: Swiss-Tech Micro Plus, red and turquoise Photon II Microlights, Princeton Tec Blast, Mini Fox 40 whistle, Suunto compass/thermometer combo, and a mini firestarter from Done-Right Manufacturing.

First I keep my car key (with a small 550 cord lanyard) separate from the rest of my keys.

With the rest of the keys:
-couple of feet of 550 cord lanyard
-mini Fox 40 whistle
-Pelican led light
-P38

Pockets:
-Leatherman Juice CS4
-Small Sebenza Regular, or Spyderco Endura (travel knife)
-Surefire E2

Anyone in the US have a glowring or two they could sell me? It would save loads on shipping...otherwise, I have a source that will ship internationally...

I got my glowrings from Bagheera who will ship them from Holland. If I remember, they were $10 U.S. each, including shipping.

My keyring has maybe 7 keys. My house set (3 of the 7) and auto ignition are on separate rings attached to the main ring. Also on the main ring are a photon III, a green glowring and a Schrade Tough Tool (recently replacing my lost Micra, but may prove to be too big for keyring carry). The secret to carrying this is a nylon strap with a spring loaded small hook on one end. The hook also goes around the keyring, while the other end of the strap gets looped around a belt loop. This allows my keys to dangle in my pocket without putting much weight (if any, depends on the pants) on the pocket lining. If the strap or belt loop should break (not likely) or the hook come loose (has happened once), the keys just fall into my pocket, so nothing is lost.

What about the Swiss-Tech MicroPlus? That's what I carry. Have you ever tried it?

The Swiss-Tech mini multi-tools compete with Sebertech's tools. Keychain-Tools.com carries the Swiss-Tech products and not Sebertech's because the Swiss-Tech tools are a better value, i.e., Swiss-Tech is cheaper and has a lifetime warranty.

Swiss-Tech's keychain tools include the:

My favorite Swiss-Tech mini multi-tools are the Utili-Key and MicroPlus.

I saw it at a local Eastern Mountain Sports store. I haven't used it, though. Hmmmm. Seems like that would be another one to try.

At least you're a member. I can't figure out how to join. Mind filling me in?

By the way, hat's off to your preparedness. Compared to you, I afraid I don't even rank.

I'm a bit of a minimalist. All I have are one house key, my car remote/master key, my valet key, and one white photon. It's funny because the most expensive thing on my keychain is the keychain (50 bucks for a freaking keychain). I have all of my work keys on a separate lanyard so I don't have to drag them with me everywhere when I'm not at work.
