First, this thread will be locked in between updates as its just for info regarding this exchange.

I just recieved notice that DOL has shipped the Badger Attack knife to me, pics of the shipping label and reciept coming this evening. I will post pics as soon as I receive it.

Thanks to everyone for the moral support and the good advice! :D
 
OK, due to a bunch of advice and a lot of talking with some higher ups its been decided to make this a thread for me to show when things get done rather than when any little thing happens. I will post here when knives arrive to me, or when something important happens.

Pics and or scans of the labels and receipts are between me and the other two people. No use clogging up the thread with pics that dont mean anything. I will post "as received" pics of each knife though because that is relevant. I will also have the owners take pics as received of their knives just to put a nice big period to this whole thing.

Moderators: please feel free to add anything you see fit, its not a one man show. :)

A quick update:

I have received the Badger from DOL, its in good shape and arrived in good time. I'll have some pics of it up asap. Right now I am literally buried in work.

Second update of the day! :D The other knife is on its way as we speak! KH sent the Battle Mistress via USPS today, should be here in a few barring any blizzards in between me and him.

All is well so far. :D

New info!

Just recieved the Battle Mistress from Knife Hunter! It looks to be in perfect shape and is definitely the correct knife. More to come!
 
Ok guys, I am now beyond pissed off. I'll wait for an explanation from DOL, but I am seriously unhappy with how things have come out.

Knife hunter has bent over backwards to make things right, I have to add that in.

More to come as I get more info, DAMN I am pissed. This sucks.
 
Well, looks like while I was away someone decided to teach DOL math. Thats not the point though.

My integrity was brought into question, why would I take your money???

That is what I am upset about.

well almost, EDIT: Sorry, to explain the postage thing, in Click n Ship they only allow for 500.00 insurance, I had to add the additional 1000.00 insurance at the post office, since I used the paypal version of click n ship it doesnt show the actual shipping price, but the additional insurance tag only shows the added price, hence the 10.00. the whole thing was only three or four bucks off, and I only asked for 25.00 to begin with so I'd have been out of pocket .

I think what you did for the situation Dwayne was very kind and thoughtful. You took time from you busy schedule to take care of something that you had nothing to do with just to try and restore some peace and that is something you should be commended for.


So I say Thank You very much for the integrity and thoughtfulness you have shown.

I will remember what you did here.
 
i consider dwayne and stacy ((and rhiannon(sp?)) to be friends. granted, ive purchased many pieces from them, but ive maintained my loyalty for good reason.

1. of course, they make awesome leather products.

2. even when i was a noob, they treated me like a valued customer. imo, the first sign of not only a good businessman, but a good man.

3. they normally ship my orders before ive even paid. they do know me, from bfc, but a tremendous leap of faith on their part.

4. i get "rhiannon-junk"!! (like skunk-junk, but different.)

You demonstrate the best of what Busse and BladeForums stands for.
You should be proud of your actions and integrity while others should be embarrassed for questioning it.
 
I will respond to this one more time. Again many times i have thanked you here and through emails and over the Phone Dwayne, And I aslo admitted i was mistaken about what you paid for postage as well. I aslo took full responsability for my mistake. I was unaware that you had bought postage online and when i saw the $9.50 postage sticker i did not open the thread here i Emailed you. I did that to try to keep this civil but you blew up. Dwayne,you instead of contacting me via email you decided to post it here. Further more you also have stated that KH did everything as asked that is true but only after you emailed him and convinced him to fall in line. On the other hand i agreed to every request that KH made through you. We had a member rite here in maryland who had volunteered before you did Dwayne, KH said no way!!! I agreed to every request promptly and respectfully. with the exception of KHs demand to be reimburssed via a money order. Thats were i drew the line in the sand. He paid me via paypal and it was ridiculous to not just click the refund payment in my paypal so he and myself would not lose any funds to paypal . Which you agreed was the rite thing to do. I never had to have control of how this was going to be resolved but the other party did. which i have in the many emails you sent me. I trusted that you would be fair which i do believe you were until you posted that KH did everything perfectly and you were sooooooo mad at me. Instead of contacting me directly as we have been doing for several weeks. I guess for some people its not good enough to MAN up and admit I was wrong which i did. And i also have thanked you time and time again. The real truth is that i followed your every request with out falter far faster and with out argument. which you also confirmed via many emails. Thankyou. Dwayne, DOL. Both knives have been returned to the proper owners and payment has been refunded as well. this issue i closed/resolved.:D Thankyou Again:thumbup: I really hope you didnt tear up the 1/300 SHBM pattern as you emailed you did:eek: im sure quite a few people would like to buy some of them as you are one of the finest leather sheath makers out there:D sincerly ,Paul​

True words and good advice, Paul, but I think that Dwayne's commitment to his community led him to be a mediator in spite of the risks.
 
Looks like you have some spoiled children amongst you....my recommendation is to TCB where you all eat before letting it spill out into the General Population......it makes ALL of you(including the Head Hog) look really bad.:mad:

DOL, I have done nothing to make anyone feel like I would take their money, I will be forever disgusted that you would even speculate that I would bilk you for a measly 20 bucks. That 20 bucks would mean my reputation, my income, and my business. Its beyond me why anyone would risk it all on a twenty dollar bet.

Knife hunter may have gone overboard defending himself, but DOL has lost much more in attacking the very person that is simply trying to help. You have forever lost my trust, and I hope the trust of the community you so value.
