khukris by BUSSE?

..it technically isn't a khukri unless it was made in Nepal and the blade has the .. goat blood sprinkled on it by a village elder during some type of ceremony.
..well the Busse-fied khukri would be made in Ohio, prolly have hog teeth cut into it, and Jerry could prolly spit whiskey on it before shipping to us.. :)

How could a piglet resist! What better design to satisfy primal chopping urges. Even Busse's unmentionable "competition" has a khukri in the lineup.

TheLibertarianMind, Do you have a camera set-up in my shop? I'm a little freaked out to say the least!!!..

I spent all last night until 6:00 am this morning drawing out a Busse Combat Kuhkuri ! ! ! ! . . . . I presented both final patterns to our production team this morning!!!!. . . They threw empty beer cans at me because of the cost of manufacture, but it was fun to see them wake up so quickly!!! The timing of your post is really remarkable!!!

In my design, I incorporated a corrugated bevel and used the Fusion handle. The blade length is 11" with a thickness of approx. 5/16".

Here's a quick sketch that I came up with for a recent thread over on the Swamprat forum. It is for a Swamp Rat Khukuri, but it could easily be adapted for Busse usage. It would be a 3/8" thick, 18" OAL Khukuri with a 13" blade weighing in at around 28 -30 oz. The handle would be the same type as on the new Ratweiler.

The choil was thrown in as an ode to the "Cho" found on traditional Khuks. Not sure how useful it would be here, except looking cool.

This sounds like a makt made in Heaven. Busse is known for making thebest choppers on the market and the Kuhkuri is among the best hoppers on earth. So Let's me a limited edition at the very least.

Okay, somebody pony up $4K and let's see what the Custom Shop can do.

Hurry up. You're wastin' daylight.

Look, I am in no way trying to be a picky begger but please oh PLEASE don't let this mean that it would have those corrugated bevel lines on it.
