Processing game is one of the predominate chores in my life, one which is most consistently, beyond most other tasks demanding me to pull out the ESEE among other knives.
Please feel free to post pictures of your own Kills, and your knives taking care of the cutting tasks.
Also feel free to include user opinions, advice, analysis, and questions of ESEE’s and their strengths as well as their weaknesses when employed within the processing of livestock.
Thanks Guys and Gals

One old photo, just a personal favorite.

Buck from this year. The 3MIL did pretty well. Actually, my criticism was it was almost too sharp. When splitting the rib cage, I was off center a little but and the blade bit in to the rib pretty deep and made me think I was making progress. After I realized I wasn’t I moved it over ½” and it split the ribs like a zipper. That was with the factory edge. Definitely my new whitetail knife.

I think your cat is still hungry ?

Toulouse, I didn’t even notice him at the bottom of the picture until after I had posted. He is a fat barn cat, kicks the calf’s off the milk buckets, and was dragging away entire sections of that deer’s hide. He doesn’t miss a meal.

Barn cats are awesome b/c they are survivors themselves.... tough ole'cats that get it while the getting is good ! I grew up with several living in the barn....mean & tough !

That is a great looking buck, I prefer my 3 to the 6, or the smaller Izzy. The RC3 seems to be just right blade length wise.

Another older pic of my RC6 making easy work of the rib cracking.

Thanks, I felt I was due for another buck, it had been a few years. I was going to shoot the first doe that came out (I’m a food hunter, I don’t eat the antlers :D) but this guy just happened to be the first one out. He was actually chasing off a buck larger than him. The one I killed had taken some beatings. Broken tines, hide torn up. He was a hog though, big bodied dear. Been eating him all winter. Hard to beat a nice lean venison taco with some onions and green peppers. Mmmm mmmm.

Yall keep an eye on the exchange after this thread. Someone's feeling always gets hurt when animal blood shows up on an ESEE knife.

You guys rock. Now this is what our knives should be doing....being used! BTW: yall start saving all these photos in high-res becasue somehwere down the line we're gonna wnat tthme for some ads or catalog or something.

One picture at a time shattering the misconceptions that meat just doesn’t materialize skinless, free of debris, cut to appropriate portions and packaged in clear cellophane.
EDIT:> Nor does one just inherently possess the knowledge of how to properly kill, and care for your meat. It takes conditioning, as exemplified by my bro in this picture; him being a badass dad and teaching his kid how to do the job correctly with uncles RC6.

If people get butt-hurt and want to sell some blades, PM me if they're a good price. I need a backup 4. Or even a 3 or a Junglas if it's a good deal.

I've got all mine in hi res you're always welcome to. Just holler.

Great pics Crowdog and Adam!!! It's always great to see some ESEE's in real world action. That was a pretty nice buck Adam!

Same here. I could use a 4 myself. I had a discussion with the mother-in-law over the holidays. She couldn't understand how I could hunt "poor defenceless animals". She made this silly remark as she was tucking into her third helping of the pork tenderloin I had prepared for dinner . . . .:p

Nice job! I always like seeing ESEE's being put to some real work like this.

Button buck that was the first running target I had opening morning of the meat hunt. The seat belt cutter was issued in Kabul and works great for skinning and the point was reshaped right after I finished with this one and got it hung up.

I don't know if you can see the RC4 on my belt but I'm also wearing the Izula as a neck knife! :) I didn't think to photograph my dressing it but the 4 worked nicely for basic through the rib cage gut work! Taken with my longbow which is the only real way to take a deer! :)
