Hey all,
Although this has been a long time coming, I never actually thought I would be putting this knife on the block. Recently I've felt the urge for a bigger, more defensive knife. My once peaceful hometown is evolving into the desert from Mad Max; I sense this is taking place in a lot of once pleasant towns across the US. Anyways, this knife is precious to me. Before I knew any better I traded this knife (and another $50 knife) for my small Micarta 21. I found out shortly after that I'd been slightly burned. So, this knife has always had a welcome home in my pocket. HOWEVER, this is not going to effect the value of this knife in any way and I have come to terms with my past naivety.

The knife: Excellent condition. If you have never owned or held one of these it is a cross between a small Sebenza, and King Arthur's sword; it's got a very cool custom feel to it and the skinner blade is such an awesome feature. Lockup is like one of those old school vaults that takes over 30 seconds to unlock because of the 500 intricate gears, switches and pistons; she's solid. Almost swings shut when lockbar is disengaged but a little bump will get her to close. Flicks open so, so fast with a thumb..it's a beautiful thing. The edge is semi-polished, and there are slight grinds where the stone passed the factory edge, near the choil. This was everyone's peeve with this knife: the edge stops as the blade meets the choil. Stupid, but doesn't deter this knife from slicing like Pyramid Head from Silent Hill. Factory edge, just touched up on fine and UF on the SharpMaker. I polished the Dragon Skin faux bolsters, and then very slightly heat anodized them. The result was so much cooler than I expected! It's lightly done, so only the right angle and lighting will reveal the colors, which appear as blue, to purple, to orange, to copper. The pocket clip is also heat anodized faintly. I also went over the handles with a green Scotch pad, and then with a 2000 grit wet sand. Again, I wasn't expecting it to look so damn neat. There are also blue o-rings on the thumb studs. Lanyard is included if you want it.

Trade Interests: Like I mentioned, something bigger. Maybe an Emerson of sorts (no serrations or combos or chisels please). Busse? Ya, I think so. Other Fixed monstrosities? Sure, I'll take a gander. Whatever else you have to offer, I will look over no problem. I am very open minded.
