Hope you guys don't mind, but i thought i would start an independent thread for the finished KITH knives. I think it will make it easier to view.

Here is the one that I completed and sent to Dr. Steve (Chiro75)

It is 311 layers of 1095, 15N20, and pure nickel. Full tapered tang, mosiac pins and Beng Burl handle.

Here's the one I sent Dan. I was going for something different from the norm for my work.
Damascus/Ironwood Feather-Light
feather-light.JPG

The feather-light is just what it says. The knife weighs only 1.5 oz. The knife is low count, 3 steel, random damascus, 1/16" thick. The blade is 2 3/4" long with a total length of 6 3/8". The inset handle is Desert Ironwood with stainless steel handle screws. The butt of the blade also has a lanyard hole. The knife has a cross-draw, leather sheath by, of course, Tess.

Those are both awesome and I've got another one to add!

Here's what I got from Thomas Clegg AKA Possum today. A beatiful hunter with Jig bone scales, red spacers, and a mirror polished 440C blade. Has some dang good vine filework down the spine too, and it came with a very nice leaher sheath.

Dang it, couldn't stick a pic in the edited post. Here's the first one.

Here's the filework.
I really like this knife :D. I don't know if we're supposed to put the reviews here or somewhere else so I'll wait and edit if necessary.

Ok I gpt confirmation that my knife was recieved by Sean (smo18). Here is a link to my site where you can see it.
http://home.comcast.net/~w.suhrbier/huntergallery.html
Some of specs are a 7" blade forged out of 1080 with brass guard, sub-hilt, and pommel. Stacked handle of ebony and titanium. It came with a black leather cross draw sheath that I made.

Ok now I will finally give some more feedback on the knife I recieved from Dan Grey. First let me state that my failure to get this posted in no way reflects any feeling I have towards this knife. It is a very nice overall design. The handle rests in the palm of my hand right under the thumb which feels natural restind along the spine in a french foil grip or can be wraped around in an encircling grip. The integral guard gives the forefinger a good resting place. The blade is a hollow grind upswept point that just begs for some delicate cutting work. I will also restate that this knife falls into the scary sharp catagory. It has a delicate edge geometry that I might be hesitant to chop wood with, but it does some mean slicing and I did shave with it the night I got it. It came with a handmade sheath also by Dan Grey. It has a simple tooling pattern along the stiched edge and mouth that has along with the stitching been accent dyed a darker brown then the chestnut color of the sheath. The lines of the sheath are well thought out and add a little flair while not impeding the functionality of the piece. All edges have been slicked down to complete the refined look of the overall package.
