Kizer Mini Harpoon

Okay, I think this should be the official Mini Harpoon thread. These are just such a great knife for the money. I’ve actually even managed to buy all of mine when they have even been on sale.

So let’s see the pics.

For me, I could have passed on the full size. It’s a nice knife for the money, don’t get me wrong. It’s just that I have so many very nice fixed blades all the way from 3” to 18”. I didn’t need another…

The mini harpoon just fits perfectly for me, quality steels and for the money I don’t know of another fixed blade that size that does?

I did however get the full sized for $39 in D2 and It is razor sharp too! I threw it in the truck bag instead of sending it back to the big river. May be a give away knife, something I know I would trust to work for someone.

Thanks for the reply. Good call as a truck knife. Mine happens to be a WTG Bowie edc and it’s about the same size as the full size. So I may just have to pass. I just love the harpoon look it’s a sleek profile and slices well. Hard to beat.

I’ll see about the aebl mini I may get it just to keep in my bino harness while hunting.
 
Besides the full size that’s packed away. This is my trio of mini’s. Not a fan of coated blades so I will probably pass on the others. I think at least one person on here is stripping the coating on one of them so if that turns out well I will grab one at the next sale.

I am the same, I am not huge on coatings unless it is DLC. Even then I generally prefer an uncoated iteration. Thanks for sharing this. These are cool knives. I did just order a couple of the clips you have on your minis, looking forward to trying them out.
