Thanks, the lens isn't kind to the wrinkles these knives have aquired. They look much nicer in person, they're solid with nice walk and talk and sharpen up nicely.A couple of nice old examples.
Empire Knife Co. ca. 1900, nicely made single-blade, with Cocobola handles;
I like that a lotPicked this up about a year ago. Tang stamp says KK Klein Tools Chicago, USA. The blade was dull but sharpened up nicely.

There are no liners. This was a custom knife that Travis made for me. He does excellent work at reasonable prices.I like that a lot
No liners?
Kabar and Camillus electrician's jack knives. I haven't seen many electrician's knives with a clip point blade like the Kabar has. Both are solid knives with snappy action. The Camillus has half-stops on both blades, and the Kabar blades are both cam-tang. On the Camillus, the cutout in the screwdriver blade is to access the nail-nick on the main blade, but I am not sure what the smaller cutout on the Kabar screwdriver blade is for. The Kabar is a little thicker overall than the Camillus and is finished quite a bit nicer with the wooden covers, fully pinned construction, and flush-ground backsprings. The Camillus is more economically manufactured, with the delrin covers attached to the scales by melted posts and the scales and springs not ground flush on the back.
