Knee reconstruction today AHHHH!

thats the idea! let your body rest and heal, you will have lots of time to be awake later!

Bruce, just got back from my two week holiday. Just saw this post this evening. Best to you on a speedy recovery. Did you bring back a scalpel for a template??

Hope your recovery is textbook so far Bruce! Sorry for your lay off but if the meds let you it's great time for reading. There are several other interesting knife and sword related forums online to with enough info stockpiled to keep you reading for weeks.

Take care!

Bruce, I need to get here more often. Hope you are doing well and will be back running a marathon again...Yeah sure!
Take care and talk soon.

Get well soon!

I had the first part of that surgery courtesy of a Challenger jet. It's amazing what you can walk away from after 6 months on your back.:)

Thanks again for the good wishes. Feel just abit better each morning. Maybe drug induced but I woke up this morning and asked for my scetch pad. You should see the new pistol/sub-hilt fighter dream I had!

Just an update. Yesterday was the post-op doctors appointment. Dr Willard is very happy with my healing progress and gave the ok for physical therapy. At this rate I will back in the shop in no time! Thanks again friends, Bruce

Glad to hear it Bruce. Just keep on getting better.

BTW, try not to smack the physical therapist.;) :D

Bruce, Thats goodnews! Maybe you need to get a peddle powered grinder now that your going to be doing therapy.....

Bruce
I'll bet you got some expensive scar inlays though :)

Since no one else will wish you luck Bruce:eek: Good luck. It seems to be something about hunting season. My partner just had cancer surgery and my mother went into the hospital with a broken rib....I've only shot one deer so far:mad:

Anyway...I hope you continue with the antique firearms. So far I love the things you turned out. I'd like to see you start with long guns like Golden Age rifles. The flair you have with inlays makes you a natural for them.

Hope you start feeling better soon.
