kneightriduh - BUYER BEWARE

I'm one of the people who had agreed to purchase from Dan, before people started posting warnings.

I'm kind of torn about this, to be honest. He was very communicative with me, even sending pics of the knife & shipping label. I got the package today and the knife is in great condition and I'm satisfied with the transaction. we exchanged several emails and he was very responsive to me.

So since I haven't experienced any of the things being reported here, I don't feel like I should jump into the hate parade and I'll try to leave positive feedback because this transaction between me and him was smooth.

I definitely appreciate how people here were looking out for potential buyers (except for me - maybe because I had already sent PayPal? lol), there's not much that feels as bad as getting ripped off by someone you trusted to keep their end of the bargain! (and this is another reason why PP Goods & Sevices should be the only option used when buying something from someone you don't personally know - Oh, and by the way, since I'm already writing a novel here, that ~3% service fee is the seller's responsibility and not the buyer. In fact, requiring/requesting that the buyer pay the seller fees is breaking your User Agreement with PayPal and all it would take is 1 or 2 reports to PP that the seller is making buyers pay their fee, before PayPal shuts off the seller's ability to receive F&F payments. So in short, I did use G&S when paying, soni would have eventually gotten my money back - probably lol

sorry about the OT rant...

So what do you all and/or the Mods think?

TL,DR; My tansaction with the seller went very well.

I've personally spoken to people that were hung out to dry from his prior dealings, not to mention the fact that my situation with him wouldn't have had a shot at a resolution if I didn't spend quite a bit of time tracking down his real information. All I know is that he's got a lot of other people's money. Lets not forget that he also had fraudulently acquired other peoples' knives. I wouldn't be surprised if he sold you one of them.

The guy's definitely a scammer. The guy posts for sale ads on throw-away accounts with fake information. If it looks like a duck....
