Flat, I have both black & brown in the Don Hume J.I.T. Slide. Gun rides nice & stays secure, even with jogging-occassionally the Bloodhound breaks into a sprint. Summertime, a tee shirt untucked keeps it covered. SP-101 front sight has had the serrations ground off, and a centerline scribed, then painted white after it was re-blued. Action has been tuned, and the trigger shaved & polished. I know how Sandy Garrett was awarded "Pistolsmith of the Year" in 1998. All my wheel guns make the trip to his shop.
