While looking for something unrelated, my mom and I found this random collection of interesting stuff my dad had in a ziploc. All his father's stuff, this old Mido multifort power wind watch among it. I know nothing about the watch, other than the obvious, and that it still works. I'd like to get a band for it, not sure what size.

DO NOT WIND AND RUN THAT WATCH UNTIL YOU CAN GET IT CLEANED, OILED, AND ADJUSTED. You could wear out the parts prematurely, and it will be very hard to find replacements.

To size a watchstrap, measure the inside distance between the lugs (those "ears" that hold the strap). Sizes are denominated in millimeters; chances are yours are 18mm. And as DocJekl cautioned, have it cleaned, oiled and adjusted.

If you are into watch modding don't ever try to swap the bezel in this watch!
I did my fair share of modding, repairing watches etc and trying to swap the bezel in my orient mako for a coinedge bezel was the most frustrating thing so far
