The Grand Seiko is a great compliment, the blue of the dial is gorgeous in person. A superb watch for a superb knife.

I absolutely love the Spring Drive. This thing keeps time in HAQ territory, and the Zaratsu polishing is for real. You’ll love SD.

I have the snowflake and it’s easily my favorite watch. Since selling my Rolex gmt I sorely need a gmt, good excuse for a second GS I hope!

If you like a sports styled watch (to replace a GMT Master I’m guessing?) I can happily recommend the SBGEXXX series.

GS spring drives are sleepers, if the Swiss had come up with it they would be revered like the second coming. I kinda like how Seiko keeps it low key, just staying in their lane releasing kick ass watches and tech.

You nailed it. If Rolex had developed Spring Drive the fans would be legion.
