Please keep me posted!I just put a new battery in it. It sat sleeping in my dresser for years but from what I remember, it went through batteries like there was no tomorrow. But I will monitor battery life and see.

The main power drain for the batteries is the LEDs.
The more you check the time the faster the batteries drain.
That is why Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
became popular.
Seiko was the watch company to bring LCD watches to market.
Down side with early LCD was, the display was hard read in low light. That is why they added a light to press. Still a power drain but not as much.
Timex's Indigo watches were the real game changer.........used very little power.
