Knife and Watch combo. Let's see them!

Used to be my grail watch within the slim realm of possibility some day….now with prices the way they’ve gone I know I will never have one :(
the pricing has gotten scary high now that about every country has more and more multi millionaires scooping them all up. im out of the game...couldn't keep up.....

Exactly, I was eying these back in my single days when they cost maybe the same as a decent used car, and though absurd I actually imagined maybe buying one, just a plain jane steel nautilus. Now that they cost the same as a house I’m out. Grand Seiko is more than enough watch for me now :)

I get the bug and take a few pics when I buy a new one. I stopped buying watches when a used Seadweller or a Panny went over $4k

I'm a grand seiko fan...top tier in many ways..
you have a great one.....I never owned one but always had a huge liking for them. got to play with a few over the years from collectors i knew who had the best of the best. they are higher end than anything I ever bought myself.......

The fit and finish is pretty great, definitely the nicest thing I’ve had any real experience with. Though I’ve never held a patek so I can only imagine what they’re like! I did get to try on a JLC minute repeater once, that was pretty mind blowing :)

they are impressive.

that jlc is a watch there.

Yeah I’m surprised jlc prices haven’t gone nutso yet, that’s the next watch on my radar if I can find the right one (not the repeater obv!!)
JLC will likely sit where they are for quite sometime.

The brand itself has a lot of history that still hurts them til this day.

Fantastic watches none the less but the brand perception on JLC.. might not be on the up and up anytime soon.

Yes this sounds right to me. Still waiting on Patek, Lange, and/or AP's reputation to tank so they become more affordable...think I'll be waiting a while ;)

just with all the hype going on, there arent many great watch deals left tbh. JLC is more the connoisseurs watch. Someone in my watch group did order the small seconds reverso in green the other week and delivery wont be for 4-5 months.
