Bill,

Is that a black tactical love seat?

Clay is right ... I have a knife attached to my new futon. I tied a thong around the arm and stuck a puukko sheath in it -- not concealed, but handy, in fact it's right next to my hand right now.

When you think about it ... just about anything could be something to keep knives in or attach a knife to. Wanna buy a new car? A house? Even the slot machine ... you can probably work something out ... maybe a magnetic sheath that sticks on. Or attach a holster for that Single Action Army ... talk about a one-armed bandit....

Hehe.. I got knife burnout for about 3 weeks, and in that span of time I managed to blow $1200 upgrading my computer. Now that my Native (sorry guys, not the BF ver

) is in the mail, I often wonder about all the knives that kind of money could've gotten me. WOW.

Oh well.

The secret, I've found, is working three or more jobs. You can regulate the funds of a couple of them to your wife for bills and family maintenance, and leave the funds of your third job for the purchasing of whatever your heart desires.

Me, I vacillate back and forth between various types of melee and projectile weaponry. The love is never lost, and knives will always be my favorite, but occasionally other toys get in the way.

Hi Bill. Some time off is needed as mentioned. Pursue or rediscover other interests. I recently received a Winchester 357 Trapper lever action. It was one of those "I really want it but it can wait" things. Well after almost 10 years wait I finally got it! It' s a great feeling.

I hit knife burnout the day I got a Benchmade Axis. My search was over for the perfect knife. Okay, perfect is asking a lot, but I have been carrying one now for months and not even thought about carrying or buying anything else.
I dunno what happened, I just like it so much I don't want anything else and I went from buying at least a few knives a WEEK, to none, cold turkey, completely without intention. If you don't have an Axis yet, get one.
