Knife Count?

1 on me, and one in my jacket. Another 3 (incl multi-tools) in the car, and oftentimes 3 more in my bag in the trunk. Any (normal) given day I'll just use 1 or 2.

In civilian clothes, I carry a Vic Tinker and some type of modern folder (Sage 3 most recently.)

When I'm in uniform, I've got 7:

Spyderco Military (Right front pocket)
Pink Esee Izula (Small of back with Tek-Lok)
Gerber EOD Multitool (Horizontal sheath on left hip)
Benchmade 5 Rescue Hook (Sheath on right hip)
Vic Classic (Right breast pocket)
Boker Urban Survival (Right shoulder pocket)
SpyderEdge Tasman Salt (Left calf pocket)

I'll be the first to admit that I don't really need so many knives, but everybody in my unit knows me as "the knife guy" so I don't want to disappoint them; also, I just like having things with blades to play with:D

One ...and my wife is always saying "if only I had someone with a knife to come cut this for me" because I never have enough things to keep one knife busy, let alone 7.

I do carry 5 guns though (2 rifles) because people know me as a gun guy, and I can't disappoint them.
Grocery store runs are a bitch. Price you pay for safety, I guess.

Where do you live? I'll be sure not to grocery shop there without a tank.

+1 Either somebody wrote their post ambiguously or is a little spooky! :D

I usually carry two, one is always some sort of SAK that I mostly use for the tools but it is also my loaner knife. It is about as sheeple friendly as anything out there and if somebody somehow manages to break or damage it I'm not out much money. The other knife is generally Spyderco of some sort, lately its been a Paramilitary 2 or a Delica in ZDP-189. That one stays clipped to my right front pocket and is for my use only.

I just carry 1 usually. If I carry more than that i end up just using 1 anyway.. sometimes Ill edc a folder and an ESEE izula as my fixed blade.

I like carrying 1 knife so that I can use it, beat on it, and call it an old companion at the end of the day. :)

In my edc pocket rotation: Xm-18, lg. 21 Sebenza or Izula. I fall, winter or early spring, a Military in my coat pocket. So usually one on me if a coat or jacket - then two. :)

Forgot my pics: :D

Holy!! Yep I read that with consideration as well!

One knive I always have is my Leatherman Wave (the pliers get used almost daily)... in the weekend with buddies in the bush I might have a half dozen or more 10 blades, partly just because they're great discussion points and good for killing time (waiting for the fish to start rising).

You EDC two rifles and 3 other guns?

My EDC:
1) Single shot bolt action .22lr
2) .338 Lapua magnum
3) Super RedHawk in .454 Casull
4) Thompson Center Encore pistol in 7mm Remington Magnum
5) Kel-tec P3AT
I've got my bases covered unless I'm attacked by grouse, in which case a Browning A5 replaces the Ruger.

Rarely do I leave the house and not end up thinking "I could sure use a .338 Lapua right about now." :D

Hmm one in my left pocket normally para2... One on belt which is juice s2... Little sak on my keychain... Swiss card in wallet (sometimes but not as much lately) then sometimes a backup (mini griptilin) so...4 to 5 knives although not all of them are used for their blades

I guess you carry your lapua IWB huh?

Just how many blades do you gents carry on you on a regular basis? :D

May seem a bit out there but I carry 4 to 5 blades just because. :P

Well, depending on how you cout'em, about 4.

A Vic Classic on one key ring for the tooth pick and the tweezers.
Leatherman Micra on another for the screw drivers.
A traditional in my right front pocket to do most of my cutting.
A one-hander in my back pocket for those times when a one-hander is handy.

Nope, ankle rig. :)
The TC is a "necker," the barrel plugs into a kydex Bic lighter holder for quick access...
Scoped Super Redhawk is IWB
Kel-tec .380 is a drop rig thigh holster
I hold the .22 in one hand, and a sweaty handful of .22 shorts in the other...
Ready to rock.
