Knife Display Box

I hope this will be of benefit to you, just don't horn in on my eBay market. :)

Maybe I'll do a box give away one day or perhaps you might have something to trade for a box (something I can use :) )

If anyone makes a box based on the tutorial I'd like to see photos.

MAKE SURE YOU PLACE THE MAGNETS IN CORRECTLY SO THEY ATTRACT EACH OTHER. Otherwise, the lid will keep popping up and you will never get it closed.
Now THAT is something I would do!!! Thanks again for the great tutorial!!!!

I can give you a high five for a box ;):D

THANKS Dave! Nice tutorial! I don't have a table for my router so would probably make a frame/fence/jig for the router to run up against while it and the board were clamped down to the bench. I think where I would likely mess up the most is with cutting and gluing the felt in place. I suspect I would be able to bugger that up a whole bunch of different ways.

Well, Phil,

You'll just have to make a table for the router. Uh, I can't do a tutorial for that, tho.

Yep, just make jigs and fences for your router and plunge the router bit into the wood. Works the same and I think it might be a bit safer as well.

I have to use a table because I don't have a work table big enough to place jigs and fences on it.

If you saw my shop you would laugh your ass off.

I'm set up in a 6x9 laundry room off the patio/balcony/porch thingy. And part of that space is taken up by the washer and dryer stuff. I barely have a 4 foot square to stand in.

I have to move one tool off the table and put another on it to use em.

My shop is so small I have to use part of the kitchen, actually most of the kitchen as a shop when I make Kydex items.

Anyway, the felt isn't too hard to work with. Just take it one step at a time and don't rush it.

very nice, ive been making shadow box display and picture frames for 3 years i need a few more tools to be better but your doing good. I love doing stuffin maple and mahogany. I would never wanna do boxes in iron wood wow that would be tuff lol
