that would get annoying quick!

if i leave it alone for a week or so, it will be slightly magnetic when i pull it out of the case again. if i actually carry/use it for a week, it gets very strong... as in, it will pull other knife blades towards it if i lay them down near each other. spine whack will cure it every time, but doesn't prevent it from happening again.

i am about to start a thread on it just to keep this one somewhat on topic.

What are those cases called? I did a Google for "Kershaw Plastic Knife Case" and got nothing.

You can get a legitimate de-magnetizer from Enco online for about $25.00. They're good to have around anyway. I always use one to de-magnetize my blades after grinding.
