Time goes by quickly and I didn't even realize I had gone over the 500 mark. So yesterday at a market at the Toji temple in Kyoto I picked up a brand new lovely little Japanese cutter, complete with side designs in the steel. This is a single beveled knife (best for a right handed person,) designed not to be used with a handle although you could mount one easily enough. I bought two of them, one for myself, and man-o-man it takes a wicked edge!
So with the cherry blossoms getting ready to pop out next week I thought that some good photos of Spring might be in order. When you think of Springtime, what does it look like to you? Old or new photos OK. To be fair, I'll let my wife and the cat choose the winner. (No fair including mice in the photo to entice one of the judges.)
Today is Sunday here, so let's say this will close next Saturday, the 28th. Open to all regardless of State, Country, or Planet.
