Probably my favorite thing is a well run forum. It's set up so things will run as smoothly as humanly possible. The addition of many, many, honest members that are here for the love of the blade is just gravy.

Everyone on this forum seems to be very willing to help someone like myself when I have a question, whether it has to do with sharpening, buying recommendations, steel or knive comparisons, or just a general question as well as some joking around. Alot of very knowledgeable folks here. Many thankful for any help I have received!
