I like Bladeforums because I feel safe posting here -- I don't have to worry about somebody correcting me in the most God-awful way. Instead of insultulting (though mind you, it is just the Internet, so no serious worry) someone who has made a mistake, the community here seems to only redirect the commenter in the right direction.
I like that the pages are clean of advertisements.
I like that questions are answered nearly immediately (at least in general knife discussion, I haven't been much anywhere else).
I guess that's more than one thing, but what the heck

What I like about BF 1) I can ask questions here and mostly get the real, right answers. I also like the wealth of data lurking in the archives of older threads. I frequently find myself crawling down rat-holes of threads long buried but chock full of relevant info.

Well, BF has pretty much been my go to forum for knife discussions, so this is definitely one of my favorite forums. Additionally, I love the subforums where I can discussion brands (e.g. Benchmade, CRK, etc.). Finally, the people on this board always make it fun and interesting. I find people with similar tastes as mine, and I can get very good recommendations from them. I would never have gotten a CRK if I wasn't notified of them.
