Perfect actually. I've done some carving with it, and for a larger knife it handles nicely. It chops great too, the wide blade easily swings through 1-2" limbs in one cut. Food prep is a breeze, from meat to tomatoes. It's a mean slicer! The finish is holding up well too, only the faintest of wear so far. Handle fits me perfectly.
