Knife guessing game ( based on description ) now guessing fixed blades

Ok, I'm thinking of a knife that's small, but at the same time it's not small. "Overbuilt" could be a word you might use to describe it. "Stumpy" might be another. Personally, I like it with a single, fat spear point, but it's been made with other blade shapes as well. I think the handle shape could technically be called a sleeve board, but you'd have to have some short, thick arms to fit in those sleeves. :D

That sounds like a sunfish to me

Good guess (probably meets all the criteria I described), but the knife I'm thinking of is not quite that thick and stumpy. :D Here are a few other clues:

Sometimes this knife comes with an EO notch (particularly when it has a sheepsfoot blade).

This knife has been produced with both short bolsters and Barlow-sized bolsters.

I'm really enjoying this thread, and I'm surprised how many of them I can guess correctly. ;) But I'm reluctant to submit a guess because I've discovered that I'm not very creative in coming up with my own descriptions of knives for others to guess! :( But here goes:

Serpentine frame, jack configuration, usually clip and pen blades, rounded bolsters, 2 7/8".

Next up, weighing in at 2.1 oz, we have a 3 5/8" closed workhorse with a drop point (skinner) blade. The synthetic handled variety includes a reinforced brass pivot, brass pins, brass liners, and a stainless back spring.

A delicate yet bullet-proof knife from the far north. Generally a barrel shaped handle with a spear-point blade. Named after a town, (or the town is named after the knife)... Looks best in red birch.

My bolsters are unique, threaded and rat-tailed, and gave the factory some trouble. I always have a pen blade, but my main blade has come in a couple of flavors. My design was based on one particular Schrade.

Another clue:

My name is a famous one in American history, though I bear it because of a street in Sheffield, whence came the inspiration for my design.

I was stumped for a long time, but I think I have it now! ;)
But I'm not going to submit my guess for fear that I'll have to make up the next description. :o
