Earlier this year Knife Hunter posted a for sale thread which included several knives, among them a one-of-a-kind double edged fighter. Where I was then located at the time, traveling around Afghanistan training our Coalition and Afghan brethren, certain things like money orders simply weren’t possible. At least not with my focus where it belonged, on the job. I mentioned if that knife was still around when I returned and he still wanted to sell it, I would happily pick it up. Well, I’m home now. And the knife was sitting in his safe waiting for me. It now holds a place of honor in my library. The price isn’t mine to discuss, but I was humbled by it. Knife Hunter also has a cousin in Afghanistan, and understands why we do what we do. He also now knows if he finds himself visiting the Denver/Springs area, well, he won’t be buying any drinks. Apologies on the long windedness, but I wanted to relay this story.

I just found this and enjoyed this transaction a lot.

Here is a pic of this beauty. I was honored to make this happen:thumbup:

Anytime, my friend:)
