Curious to know with all the knives out there what model names you like.

Or, if the mood moves you list the names you just hate.

Or both!!

Very hard to narrow it down and pick but I like these names:

1. Spyderco Tenacious

2. Cold Steel Recon

3. Chris Reeve Sebenza

4. Southern Grind Spider Monkey

5. Tops Tex Creek

6. Benchmade Northfork

I showed my buddy my Beer Scout a couple of years ago, and he was totally onboard. It fits the knife. A set of the most useful tools that also makes sure to pop the top on frosty beverages.

One of my favorites of Himalayan Imports lore is the "Pen Knife". Without getting into the play on words since it has to do with a fairly disgraced maker, it's still kinda cute. When you think of a pen knife, you think of a small knife that makes exact cuts (like for a quill). The HI Pen Knife is ONLY 12" long and weighs around 10-11 oz. Cute little bugger when you compare its larger siblings. It's also a fixed blade, and I used mine to make maybe 100 campfires over the years.

I thought Street Scalpel was a cool knife name. Might not be the best if you poked somebody with it, but a cool name nonetheless.

IIRC, that name went through a few changes. I remember it starting out as the Spokane Street Scalpel, then was changed to the Street Scalpel, and now it’s just the Scalpel (Which is dumb and boring).

So, you don’t like Tops Skullcrusher?
"Skullcrusher"? That sounds like a hammer or baseball bat. I have a couple good hammers somewhere....
I've no need of a baseball bat at my age.

I like knives with names like "Stockman" "Trapper", "Canoe", "Sunfish" "Scout knife" and "Camp knife", "Huntsman" "Toothpick" ... "Number 1", "L66", "103", "Jet Pilot Survival Knife" "Marlin Spike", "Sailor's Knife", "Loom Fixer"/"Half Hawk" ... and "110", "112", "7OT", "6OT" of course.
