Knife names you like or hate

Like:

Cold Steel Ti-Lite: Out of all the Cold Steel names I like this one the best. Usually their names kinda describe the knife, but not this one which is why I would like to learn how they came up with it.

The Ti-Lite was originally a pretty high end knife. The grip was originally made out of Titanium, then aluminum, and finally polymer. Cool design. I like my 4" one. I've had it maybe 10 years and torn up more than one pair of pants pockets waving it open

I didn't know they came in Titanium. Now I'm going to have to keep my eye out for one!

There are a lot I don't like, but the only one I will mention here is the Cold Steel Broken Skull, just because IMO it ruined a great knife.

. Kind of hard to justify your carry to a police officer as outdoor use, with that written on it. How I saw it anyway. Quite disappointing.

I could never take that knife seriously. Between the ridiculous mall ninja name and Steve Austin, it made me feel like I fell out my time machine and landed back in 1997 in high school...and that's the bottom line.

I don’t get (or like) this name: DSK Tactical Sleeper Flipper. Seems pretty uninspiring.

This sounds pretty bad*** and I like it:
Nova Blades Hellstorm Flipper.

When you say it all together it does sound off...but DSK Tactical is the brand, Sleeper is the model and well, it's a flipper.

Not a huge issue for me , but ..."Voyager" invokes a nicer image than "Frenzy"

"Talwar" is fine , somewhat descriptive .

Personally I like almost any name that is not to tactical or trendy. I like numbered systems like Fallkniven A1,S1,F1,A2, etc, and simple names like the Mora companion, Bark River Aroura, hunter and Bushcrafter to name a few.

I dont general like anything with China on it. And the Cold steel broken skull is a great knife with a really dumb name in my opinion. Many of the Tactical Blades go a little over board in the naming in my opinion. But if I really like the knife, I will buy it regardless of the name usually.

I don't care much about names, I'd even buy something named Vulture Cholera.

But I'd never buy anything with "Tac" or "Tactical" or "Zombie" in the name. I won't even mention Hoodlum as a name...
Knife like that could make you major trouble just by it's name.

As much as I appreciate Cold Steel folders, their names are hit or miss.

I like “Voyager” and “Ti-Lite”, but really wish that the “Broken Skull” and even Recon 1” were named something else.

WE, CIVIVI (lawl), Stedemon, Rike, Ruike(?) etc. Basically all the new Chinese brands have names I hate. If Stedemon knives was created by a Mike Stedemon I wouldn't care. But they're just patching together western/english sounding non-words and calling it a day.
