Knife number 15

Pancho
I think the important thing here really is that it's not too late to make this into a really great knife with a LITTLE bit more work. Don't stop now, or wait to fix it "on the next batch" once it's gone it's gone and you can't change it then. It won't take long and you'll be glad you did in the long run.

I'm pretty sure there's nothing I'd have done different myself except maybe tapered the tang, and I might not have done that either. I like the "little pointy thing" on the bottom too and wouldn't have changed the handle contour. After doing some contoured handles I'm starting to like straight ones like yours a little more.

I should have posted a pic of the belly. It is thick towards the spine but gets thinner towards the belly of the handle and has a taper on the handles. I have medium sized hands and it feels really good but I think If I taper it more it will be better. I am going to do that tommorrow. I will probably remove the point if the guy who is going to buy this if he likes it or not. Thanks guys.

Very nice blade profile,i like it a lot,i do agree with most here, the pins should be further
apart and the handle more ergonomic, nice choice of material, very clean, you did a great job on #15 !!!!

The only thing I would change is to move the forward pin to the front to compliment the bump out of the handle at the ricaso and move the rear one back a little. I like tappered tangs but you have a full blade and it looks good.

I wish I could get my fit and finish that good. Realy good job.
Cheers Mark

Thanks guys! I feel like a pro boxer in between rounds getting smacked around but ready to come out swingin. I appreciate the advice more than you guys know.

I was just looking at the knives knife makers carry thread and saw this knife by Ryan Minchew,
