Not exactly a Knife peeve, but I hate finding my freshly sharpened, fine kitchen knife/knives banging around in the bottom of the sink or in the dishwasher. I know, I know... If I would wash them and put them away myself....
"special care" defined: she doesn't use it on the granite counter top, she no longer uses it to cut through clamshell product packaging, she lets me wash it.
You are so right, Matt Cucchiara DOES know how to make a pocket clip!!I have a new peeve to add...
I hate pocket clips that end up with a point sticking out at their tip. They are forever snagging on things and scratching up furniture and such. Cucchiara knows how to make a useful pocket clip.
No snagging here!

yes, i want to keep using my granddads knife. Because every time i hold it, open it, look at it i'm reminded of him and his teachings. I guess todays hormone fed easily led sheeple, plugged into their iShiny this or iShiny that, lacks the capability to understand or enjoy tools and education passed down from their Elders. Instead they look to the Media to inform them of whats the latest and greatest iShiny thing to buy and own, instead of appreciating a well made tool with a lot of history, that a family (you know, FAMILY, those people that raised you?) member gave to them. Used to be a huge HONOR to receive Grandpas knife, nowadays the MeMeMeMe genset has ZERO appreciation and ZERO respect for their elders or any wisdom or tools passed down.....makes me want to :barf:![]()
oh and sorry, but there aint nothing that surpasses SR77 or INFI......and old carbon steel knives...............still kick butt
Good points.
You are the exception rather than the rule.
My point is that a Seb will not likely be treasured by the next generation.
Their laser-photon beam cutter will no doubt be much preferred.
