Knife Pick Giveaway! WINNER CHOSEN #73 Doc 13!

Heck, count me in. I just want to say that I am looking forward to seeing your first stockman or whittler.

That's got to be the nicest knife pick I've seen. Thanks for the chance!

Ohh and a cotton sampler would be the bees knees :D

That pick is so beautiful, I would put it on a lanyard and wear it as a necklace!
Thanks for the chance, I'm in.

I have always liked that knife Ken made. And I like the micarta tip bolster idea. I may have to give that one a try soon.

Thanks Greg!
Jared, have you considered doing something with tip bolsters?

I've always admired the blade selection and style this particular knife.

If not done in actual steel, maybe a base layer of one color micarta that has been machined out leaving a thin base and tips for another color of micarta to lay in between? With the right color combination that could look really good...

Please don't consider this an entry, I still consider myself lucky for owning "The Electrician"! :)

Trey, I'm still working on a good pattern. But I've got you down. ;)

Thanks for the chance, I'll join, please. As for a knife idea, how about an easy open jack?

Steve, that will be coming very soon. The stockman will be first and not far off.

Heck, count me in. I just want to say that I am looking forward to seeing your first stockman or whittler.

Great looking pick Jared. Thanks for the chance to win it! How about a half congress with round threaded bolsters and sunk joints?

What an opportunity! I'm in, thanks J!

I would love to see a custom made naval knife. One like the British Army version with a marlin spike, a can opener/cap lifter and a sheepsfoot main. Or if that's a little to adventurous, how about a Harness Jack?

Paul

Thanks for the opportunity, I'm in too!
I've always wanted a Buck 110 in carbon steel but having a forefinger guard, similar to its smaller brother (whose model number I currently forget.) I've not perused your offerings though, so perhaps you already make something life this :-)

I would love to try out a true pick- I have a small tool that I carry as a portable fingernail (as mine have to be kept short), but have not been impressed when trying to use it as a pick. I'm curious why you added 'sharpening notches'- purpose or aesthetic?

As for patterns, I have not noticed you adding a punch to your knives (sorry if I have missed it), and I have always wanted to see a wharncliffe/punch combo, similar to a GEC Executive Whittler.

Great looking pick by the way!

Thanks for the giveaway!
Kris

I'm all over that like a mosquito in a blood bank. I'm a guy that bites his nails and that thing is a godsend

I recently bought one pick and there's always room for more! Thank you for the opportunity.

Your knives are impeccable, and if you and other masters can find things wrong with them and you have more room for improvement, I can't wait to see more of your work later on.

I'm in! Thanks for the opportunity to check out some of your craftsmanship! I've been admiring your work online, and I love your use of handle and liner materials.

Jared, what a beautiful little piece you've created!

I am so in. :)

In general, I'd say just keep doing what you're doing; every knife so far has been a revelation.

But, since you asked? I'd enjoy seeing your take on something like this (3.25"):

Jared, nice GAW. I will take a shot, though by the end, I expect my chance to be something like 1 in 300. That's ok--it's all in good fun. Hope all is well with you and yours.
