Knife Storage Solutions - Pics

In addition to a Benchmades brag bag and a large Spyderpac, I use Kershaw, ZT, and PVK storage bags, and store those in plastic bins that hold from five to seven bags (depending on how full the bags are).

I got the $5 magnetic toolholder strips from Harbor Freight, cut them to length and Shoe-goo'd em to the underside of the shelves I use for a nightstand. The megafolders have an extra magnet in between them and the strip.

I have the spyderco large spyderpac but it's been full a long time ago. Looking for new solution

Hey Chip, Cool rig you did & nice collection of cutting utensils.
Also, I spot some nice Maglite mods going on. Looks like you even have a MiniMag shorty? Neat stuff.

Pelican 1450...I've managed to fit 84 knives in each of mine. Seems to work fine for folders up to about 4"

A few of these in various sizes and styles.

I would never store valuables in something that a) can't be locked or b) could easily be carried off.

I picked this up at IKEA for roughly $65.

Don't mind the disorganization.

It works well and holds a generous amount of my collection. It used to have more coins and oddities with my blades but it's been neglected. For a bachelor it's cool. For a married man however, it may be a bit...gaudy.

I have a flat mounted LED tapped into the top of the case, but it shorted out hence the crappy night time photo.

Banana for scale. It's about 5'6" tall

I have different methods for each type of tool:
Multitools go in their sheath inside a plastic box and the rest on a wooden box unsheathed

Large blades go into another plastic box like the MTs

Folders are scattered around, and inside both VHS movie cases and jewelry/personal stuff boxes

I use pelican 1450's for folders, a grizzly wooden drawer-box thing by the door for edc, and a rifle case for fixed blades:

Picked up a cheap little EDC box for my main stuff. Id really like to get a nice piece made of wood like some of you have but for now this will do fine. Not the nicest looking thing but it works and better then what I was doing.

I have this wooden piece saved on my amazon wish list, I'll probably buy one of these sometime soon...

New method for me, found it better and easier to access: should work for smaller knives apart from SAKs and slipjoints!
