Knife storage

I used the Recon Tanto as a scraper, prybar, had to stab buckets with it to cut out their bottoms, I also had to stab and cut out parts of tires or sheets of plastic, my Recon Tanto is mostly used as a chopper at home tho, I was carrying it at work while I worked at construction site, and I also used them to penetrate through large joints when butchering meat, cut ribs and so on.

Anyways, that kind of use and abuse this 60€ SK-5 Recon Tanto has took would probably break lots of other knives, at least break their tips off.

And I found the Tanto tip more useful in industrial setting than any drop point. Secondary point of the blade is also very useful when I want to start cutting into material like sheet of rubber.

So I love the design of Tantos, and they also suit my needs very well :)
Sounds like a Tanto is perfect for your lifestyle.
