Hello all! I’m looking to buy a new knife this weekend between $400-$600. I’m having a hard time deciding what to get. If any one has any suggestions I would really appreciate them. I’m a big Hinderer fan and was gonna pick up my 6th one but before I did I wanted to see if anything else tickles me. Thanks!

You should check these out if you haven’t already. The pocket clip is a deal breaker for some tho..

Socom elite signature series
Also Zero Tolerance is great, you could get just about any model (discontinued or sprints) for that price

Love the Socom but you are right about the pocket clip they need to do a redesign and swap it around. The zt suggestion is great I’m gonna look into that I forgot about them

True, but If anyone is looking for a regular SOCOM, the HeadQuarters has a bunch in stock
Very hard to find.
(Also I think they are taking advantage of people the market, for charging $100 more for a sterile version).
The regular one is a pretty good buy @ $325 in my opinion.
This signature edition looks the best tho 😁 LOL

If you like the XM-18, you could hunt around on the used market for a Reate Torrent. It's basically a nicer Chinese XM-18. The only downside is actually finding one! (mine was ano'ed by me)

Or look for a Vero Isotope. Extremely good, and also a little hard to find...

I know I'm suggesting difficult knives, but they're both just excellent and a little away from the norm.

Buy more Hinderers. I hope you grabbed a harpoon spanto XM-18 3.5" from DLT just now if you did not have one yet (I missed it due to a damn meeting). People will suggest CRKs but I've had a difficult time warming up with the thumbstuds on CRKs. I recently bought a Microtech SOCOM Bravo. It's made in China but it's tip-up and the quality is impeccable.

For $500 , I’d have to go with a Large Sebenza or Inkosi. Microtech SOCOM Elite for @ $325 is also a fine choice. And the smaller Spartan Harsey Folder 3.25” can be had for under $500 I believe too.
Logan, I mean Wolverine; speaks wisely here. Unless you pick blades made of Adamantium. Then, that'd be beyond your budget.
