Knife supply?

This should probably be in "GB,U" however, I ordered a Bravo-1 from them, they seem to have some of the best prices on BRKT, they were slower than most stores in shipping (about 1.5-2 weeks from order date) but I got it with no problems, before ordering I researched them and read the same experiences, good overall but usually a little slower on the shipping than most stores, so as long as you don't mind waiting an extra week or so I'd say

I think I bought my Canadian Camp from them. I'll have to check records and see if I can tell. Their prices are good because they carry mostly Micartas and stag scaled knives (for Bark River knives anyway). Maybe I bought a Benchmade Nim Cub from them too....maybe. I've never had a bad knife-buying experience from anyone except the Blade Shop, or whatever they were called then. Good, Bad, and Ugly covers them well.

If you're asking because you're contemplating buying from them and are just checking, I think Knife Supply is ok, but I can;t swear I bought those two knives there.

NewGraham, GPKnives, OneStop, KnivesShipFree, and DLT are all A+. Knife Supply? Let us know......

EDITED TO CORRECT COMPANY NAME

I expect a mod will move this thread to the feedback forum soon. FWIW I have ordered from them 5-6 times. Twice they emailed to tell me a product listed on the website was out of stock, but asked what I wanted them to do and didn't charge my card. Shipping isn't terribly speedy but that's part of the price you pay for the lower cost.

I usually check their price first, but they usually don't have the latest Spyderco models so I mostly use them for stuff that's been on the market for a while or for unusual models. They do list a lot of different brands, some of which aren't widely known.

I find I can order all I need from an industrial supply house like MSC.

I had never heard of MSC until your post, so I googled them and checked out their website. It doesn't look like they carry very many higher end brands, but the prices didn't seem too bad.

I've never had a bad knife-buying experience from anyone except BladeHQ, or whatever they were called then..

Can you help me out a little? What bad experience did you have with us? We don't like to leave a bad taste in anyone's mouth and would still like to get things resolved. We have always been BladeHQ.

Good, Bad, and Ugly covers them well

Everything about us is positive. Do you have us confused with the BladeShop?

I have made a few Knifesupplydotcom purchases.

But after canceled items (out of stock)

slow shipping (website says allow 10 days for delivery
last order wasn't shipped until 10 days after order placed)

erroneous descriptions(LFK China instead of Japan)

poor customer service (no answer to emails or phone calls)

I won't be back.

You'll probably have a lot better luck

I've had nothing but very positive experiences with BladeHQ. Contrary to another poster.

I have ordered from Knife Supply several times and have been rewarded with excellent service.

Cam, I DID CONFUSE YOUR COMPANY with the Blade Shop!!!! My apologies. That was careless. When I posted that, your company's name came to mind as I couldn;t remember the BladeShop name, and confused yours with it.

That was a complete error. I have never had a bad experience with BladeHQ. Please accept my apologies.

I recall getting a couple of knives from them with no problem - both fine. Then I ordered a Rookie and it had a defect. There was a problem with the blade - it was defective, and there was flaking of the steel near the lockup on the folder. I requested a return and they told me that "it would be better to send it to Spyderco."
I sent it back to Spyderco and they sent a replacement.
I was not happy with their customer service.

Slow shipping, would not do an exchange on a knife with an issue. I don't think they keep anything in stock, just drop ship.

That is my impression as well, and it probably explains why they can afford to offer such a large selection and keep their prices where they are. They don't have the overhead costs associated with maintaining an inventory. It also explains why they sometimes list items in stock when they aren't...the distributor sells the last one through another retailer.
