Indeed. Even now , tonight as we have some family staying over for the holidays , I have my Sebenza on me because I like it. And when these people are talking to me about who knows what , I'm thinking about which knife will be my next purchase. This is the way.

I'll admit after I got one in cruwear, my others hit the chopping block!

Al Mar Sere 2K kept me from buying folders for close to 15 years. I passed her on to my son and now rotate a few but tend to carry each one for months at a time then swap out. Lately they’ve been my 20CV Griptilian, V-Toku2 Endura, or one of my Luchas with Flytanium channel handles.

For fixed blades I’m pretty stuck on my M6s, Busse AMSs, and the BMe just for chopping. If I anticipate something different I’ll adjust, but those are what I’m using most.

I always have a slipjoint in my pocket no matter what else I carry, and for a long time it’s been a bunny knife jlauffer gave me or an Otter Messer Drei Nieten Messer ( the one you can only order from Germany with the brass hardware and grenadil covers).

I do still look around, but I’m very content with what I have.

The Shiro is very thin profile, slices like a dream. Sebenza is a little thicker, a more durable edge.

I haven't found the knife or brand to exclude all others ... yet ... To be honest, I doubt that for me such a critter exists.

I enjoy carrying and using different patterns, and blade profiles, and blade combinations, if a multi-blade.

I found a Spyderco zen with a cruwear PM2 and GB2 in M4. Now I'm mostly looking for all Ti Spydercos. A K2 is on the list
